Ordering a Lensbaby!

Super excited to add to my lens arsonal a Lensbaby! This should be fun for some more artsy shots. Can't wait to get it and show some sample work.

STUDIO!!!

I am finishing up a deal to rent studio space and am THRILLED to finally have a home for my props and backdrops. The majority of my work will still be oudoors because NOTHING beats natural light-- however, it will be SOOOOOO handy to have a studio!!!!

We are LIVE-- yipee!

The site is fully live, up and running--yeah! I have so much portfolio work to catch up on to update galleries. Lots of ideas in the works-- a spring photo party for kids, I am thinking about borrowing a real bunny (Thank you Tiffany for the idea)!

I went a little overboard antiquing, ordering props, and backdrops. I can't wait to make good use of them and I have huge plans. I give it another week, two tops, before we start seeing blooms--I am getting antsy for all the flowers!!!

Tea Party Shoot

Zozobug baby photoshoot scheduled for Saturday March 21st (at the crack of dawn). This will be a major coffee day for sure! We will be shooting with 5 models and have private early entry to the tulip farm. We are going to create a tea party scene in the middle of a tulip field. This is going to be a blast!

Backdrops

I just ordered two AWESOME new backdrops and I am so excited to use them! I got a "diamond cloth TM" backdrop in black-- it is suppose to be the blackest possible backdrop on the market and absorb all light to bring more contrast to your subject. I have great plans for this new drop. I also ordered a new masterworks backdrop in warm tones-- it should be a lot of fun as well.

Antiquing Junkie!

I am going antiquing this weekend in search of fun new things to use as props. I found the most adorable little upolstered stool for kids and a wash tub-- can't wait to use them. I am hoping for a pram (not wicker) but we'll see.

New website!

I am super excited about launching our new website and even more excited that it is FLASH! I have so much work left to do on the site and need to catch up with portfolio work but the site was worth the time and energy!
